The Rules and Exercises of Holy Living [and Holy Dying]. By Jeremy Taylor. The Fifth [and Fourth] Edition. London: Richard Royston, 1656-8, 8vo.
-------------------
All early editions of Taylor’s Holy Living and Holy Dying are uncommon. Here is an attractive copy of the fifth and fourth editions, respectively, of these most influential works on the subject. The fifth edition of Holy Living was the first to be issued with the additional double-page engraved title which, while frequently missing, is present in this copy.
