Original full cloth binding, spine uniformly sunned with a small area of loss to the backstrip above 'Mark Twain'. Boards bright and attractive, both securely attached, hinges slightly cracked. Without any attached bookplates. Stamp of W.H. Smith & Son, London to front blank, very faint and difficult to notice. Endpapers foxed else very clean throughout. Page edges foxed. Binding slightly cocked, but without shelf lean.
