Contemporary full calf, finely tooled in gilt to each spine, uniform. Spines uniformly sunned. Bindings rubbed with some scuffs. All boards are securely attached, bindings secure. An attractive set on the shelf. All edges marbled. Bookplate to verso of title pages. Some foxing to first blanks, frontispieces, and titles, with the titles often a little rippled owing to the bookplate on the versos, else very good through the text blocks - clean, and legible. An excellent set of the first Scott edition of the Arabian Nights.
