One of the most desirable autographs of inventors/scientists, of course for the importance of Tesla as a historical person, but also for the extreme rarity as Tesla did not sign very much at all. This has most likely been excised from a letter or similar document.

Autograph material in Tesla's hand is extraordinarily rare. Letters have realised as high as $341,295 at auction (RR Auction, Jan 12th 2022 lot 152), but this example of a cut signature of Tesla is most comparable to a similar cut signature which sold at RR Auctions Jan 11th 2023 lot 124 for $9,095, here offered at a very competitive price.

Condition:
Slight loss in the upper left (recto) of signature paper, but this is so small that if framed this would be hidden by a mount. Extremely minor spotting to recto & verso, else in fine condition. The signature itself is a magnificent example with lovely flow and excellent ink contact.
