Disposed of by the City of Bath Girl's School Library in 1927/73, and then acquired by one of the school's pupils at the time.
Later rebound by Downside Abbey Bindery in Somerset in the 1980s / 1990s at great expense.

Relatively recent quarter calf over cloth backed boards, uniformly bound by the Downside Abbey Bindery at great expense. Bindings in fine condition, all boards securely attached, bindings secure, and without shelf lean. Textually collates as complete, but volume one lacks its title page. Majority of the text blocks are reasonably clean, but with light foxing throughout, heavier to the ends of the text blocks, including most title pages, especially volume four and twelve as pictured. All text legible without loss of sense.
A very attractive set on the shelf.
