The Chronology and History of the World 1754 First Edition
The Chronology and History of the World, From the Creation to the Year of Christ, 1753; Illustrated in LVI Tables; Of Which IV are Introductory & Include the Century's Prior to the 1st Olympiad; And Each of the Remaining LII Contain in One Expanded View, 50 Years - Or Half a Century. By the Rev'd John Blair L.L.D. London: Printed in the Year MDCCLIV (1754).
The very scarce first edition of Blair's important History of the World, chronicling a year-by-year timeline of events from the Biblical creation through various Biblical, ancient, historical, etc, events, including the Exodus, the birth of Jesus, etc, continuing all the way up until the 1700s. An incredibly interesting book for anyone interested in history, especially Biblical history and Young Earth Creationism, which is here charted according to the Gregorian calendar, a notably challenging task to do accurately. This book was reprinted multiple times in following decades, with some later editions including maps, but this first edition was printed without any.
