-------------------
Size: 89 x 156 mm (approx.)
Condition:
[xxvi, ii, pp.1-329]
Collated as complete including the original blanks. Contemporary full calf binding, heavily rubbed with some losses to the leather in places, notably at the extremities of the backstrip. Joints rubbed and cracked but with both boards attached but a little fragile. Boards ruled in gilt with some loss. Lacks most of the original tooled label but some remains in fragmentary condition. No shelf lean. Page edges very good if a little discoloured as typical. Hinges internally reinforced preserving the original endpapers. Endpapers edge toned as commensurate with the binding. Without any attached bookplates, with an inverted ownership inscription to the rear pastedown reading 'Beaton'. Some dampstaining through the text block, toned throughout, but all text legible without loss of sense.
