Full brown calf with ink paper label to spine. Label dulled and toned. Binding rubbed with some marks. Both boards attached with wear to joints and hinges. Pastedowns separated from the boards but present. Shelf and edge wear. Red spotted page edges dulled. Text block toned with scattered foxing. Some minor wormholing in places. Skips pp.253-4 in the pagination (error as printed), signatures follow consecutively. The signatures of the preliminaries are erratic, but lacks the portrait frontispiece and half title. Leaves at each end of the page block ragged at edges, blanks creased with some loss.
