Condition:
Full vellum bindings with tooled labels to spines. Twenty eight volumes bound into fourteen. Bindings rubbed, scuffed, and with some scratches and marks. All boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges, though a small number of boards have cracked joints/hinges and are somewhat fragile. Some parts of the vellum lacking from a small number of spines where they are worn and somewhat fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Red page edges somewhat dulled. text blocks extremely clean with occasional foxing and a small number of marks. Pencil inscription to front pastedown in all volumes. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the full vellum bindings. Uncollated. Small number of leaves have small edge tears with very minor losses to white space but no loss of text. Some creasing. Small number of leaves have untrimmed top leaf edges. Leaf repair to the to leaf edge of iii/iv in volume two.
