In the original publisher's cloth with fleur-de-lis to the front boards in gilt and decorative spines with gilt titles. Bindings lightly rubbed with some wear, marks, and few dents. Spines cocked. All boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges. Shelf and edge wear. Top page edges gilt with minor scratches. Page edges toned. Endpapers toned. Title pages in black and red. Text blocks very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Small sticker to rear pastedown in volume one.
