Full brown calf bindings with black and green tooled labels in compartments to the spines between raised bands, other compartments with decorative gilt. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed with some marks, some volumes more rubbed/scuffed than others. All boards attached with wear to joints and hinges, some cracked or starting. Shelf and edge wear. Marbled page edges very lightly dulled, more so to top edges. Bookplate attached to front pastedown and front blank in all volumes. Pencil inscriptions to front blanks in volume one. Text blocks very clean with light edge toning and occasional foxing. Pencil inscription to the last page of the text block in all volumes. Blanks toned and foxed. One gathering in volume three sticks out of the page block.
