Full brown calf with tooled labels in compartments between raised bands with decorative gilt in other compartments and gilt volume numbers. Tooled label lacking from volume two. Some loss of gilt to spines, primarily volumes one, two and three. All boards attached with rubbing along joints and minor wear to hinges. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled and top page edges darkened as often. No attached bookplates. Ink shelf marks to front pastedowns in all volumes. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the full leather bindings. Text blocks very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Endpapers foxed.
