Condition:
Contemporary full calf bindings with red tooled labels in compartments to the spines between gilt bands. Volume number tooled labels lacking. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed, with a few small scratches. All boards attached with rubbing along joints, hinges starting or cracked, thus slightly fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges a little dulled as typical, top edges darkened as often. Front blank in volume one mostly detached. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the period full calf bindings. Ink ownership inscriptions to title pages. Text blocks generally clean throughout with light toning and sporadic foxing. Uncollated.
