The Faerie Queene, by Edmund Spenser. A New Edition, with Notes Critical and Explanatory, by Ralph Church, M.A. In Four Volumes. London: Printed by William Faden, MDCCLVIII (1758), 8vo.

-------------------

One of the most famous editions of Spenser's Faerie Queene, here in lovely contemporary full calf bindings, published the same year as, but slightly earlier than, the first annotated edition, thus printed during the dawn of the academic study of classic works such as Spenser. A fantastic set, complete in four volumes.
