Three brown half calf bindings over green cloth backed boards with tooled labels between raised bands to spines, other compartments with gilt tooling. Spines lightly rubbed, with some loss to the backstrips at the tops and bottoms. All boards attached with rubbing along joints and wear to hinges, some joints/hinges starting. Boards lightly scuffed and with marks. Shelf and edge wear. Shelf lean but remain upright. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Pastedowns lightly peeling at the edges. Endpapers with marks and/or foxing. Text blocks and plates very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Text block cracked between pp.131 and the verso plate in volume one. Small tear to the inner corner with loss to the front blank in volume two. Plates are uncollated but the text blocks appears complete.
