Contemporary full red calf. Very attractive on the shelf with titles nicely tooled in gilt between raised bands. Spines slightly rubbed, more so at the foot. Joints very slightly rubbed with all boards securely attached. No shelf lean. Top page edges uniformly dulled as typical. Minor shelf and edge wear with slight deformity to corners. Boards a little scuffed but generally very good. Rear board of volume one with minor loss to the leather. Remnants of removed bookplate to front pastedowns, else without any ownership inscriptions throughout. Internally very clean, mildly toned throughout as typical, but overall internally excellent, with just a few spots of foxing to the endpapers.

An excellent set.
