Condition:
Full brown calf bindings with gilt titles and volume numbers to the spines. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed. All boards attached with rubbing along joints, some joints and hinges starting. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges toned with some discolouration. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in volume one. Text block clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Tear to foldout map in volume one. Volume four lacking frontispiece if called for. Text block cracked between front blanks and title page in volume four. Uncollated.
