The History of Philip de Commines 1674 Mearne Binding?
The History of Philip de Commines, Knight, Lord of Argenton. The Fourth Edition Corrected, with Annotations. London: Printed for Samuel Mearne, John Martyn, and Henry Herring, MDCLXXIV (1674).
-------------------
Philip de Commines (1447-1511) was a diplomat and writer, located in Burgundy and France.
This was very interestingly printed for Samuel Mearne, as mentioned on the title page. Mearne was the famous bookbinder to King Charles II, and it is quite probable that this was bound in Mearne's workshop.
