Condition:
Full brown calf with gilt borders and a diamond shape to the boards as well as blind stamping, gilt titled to compartments on the spines, other compartments with blind stamping. A lovely set that shows very nicely on the shelf indeed. Bindings secure with very minor rubbing and scuffing. All boards attached with rubbing along joints, some hinges cracked. Very minor shelf and edge wear. Brown marbled page edges show nicely, with top edges darkened as often. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in each volume. Text blocks very clean with occasional foxing.
