Half navy calf over marbled paper backed boards with red tooled labels in compartments to the spine between raised bands. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed. Both boards attached with minor rubbing along joints and hinges starting. Spotted page edges dulled. Shelf and edge wear. Bookplate attacked to front blank, and creased. The blue of the bookplate has transferred onto the next blank. Ink inscription to the head of the title page. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Foldout map with some tears. Full page plates offset and foxed. Plates are uncollated.
