Contemporary full calf, boards panelled in blind. Later (?) tooled black morocco label laid down to spine. Binding rubbed, some staining, shelf and edge wear, otherwise well presented. Rear board attached, lower joint cracked. The front board and (later) blank are detached. First four leaves ragged at fore-edges. Staining and discolouration at margins/leaf edges, generally not too intrusive, but visible (in both parts) throughout, as pictured. The map also has some dampstaining, as pictured, but is structurally secure. The contemporary front blank (which is attached) has some inscriptions, including a quote taken from Baker's Chronicle. No attached bookplates, some sporadic marginalia, some of which is contemporary. Collation provided above, the preliminary [1] is the declaration of the frontispiece.
