Contemporary full calf. Binding rubbed and lacking original label. Some losses at the extremities of spine. Joints cracked but with both boards securely attached, the front hinge reinforced with cloth which is slightly externally visible. Boards scuffed with some losses at extremities. Shelf and edge wear with losses to corners. The binding is secure and without shelf lean. Some pencil drawings to front pastedown, and some mathematical calculations to the rear. Lacks front blank, else collates as complete. Internally very clean throughout, mildly toned. A few leaves dog-eared. Rear blank with a little cut away at the bottom corner. Title page edge toned as commensurate with the calf binding. Also, meaning that the initial blank was probably missing for most of the book's history.
