Full brown panelled calf bindings with red tooled labels in compartments to the spines between raised bands and gilt volume numbers. Bindings rubbed and scuffed, with some occasional scratches. All boards attached, some joints and hinges starting or cracked, thus fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Red spotted page edges dulled. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in all volumes. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the full leather bindings. Text block clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Ink stain to the reverso of the title page in volume one. Ink inscription to rear blank in volume one.
