Near contemporary full calf, finely bound by Nutt, Cambridge. Spines uniformly sunned, each volume retaining both tooled red and olive morocco labels. Very attractive on the shelf. Bindings slightly rubbed but overall near fine, all boards securely attached, bindings secure. This two volume set sold to the previous owner for £120. No attached bookplates, a few light pencil inscriptions to blanks. Exceptionally bright and clean throughout the text blocks.
