Full publisher's cloth bindings with character designs in gilt to front boards, and gilt titles to spines with further character designs. Bindings lightly worn, very lightly rubbed, and with minor losses of gilt (more so to the Jungle Book). All boards attached with rubbing along joints, hinges cracked or starting. Spines cocked. Shelf and edge wear. All page edges gilt with minor scuffing. No shelf lean. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in both volumes. Ink gift inscription to the front blank in The Jungle Book. Text blocks very clean with occasional foxing, some leaves more foxed than others.
