Two fine brown quarter calf over brown cloth boards Ramage bindings. With four gilt tooled labels in compartments to spines between raised bands, other compartments with floral gilt designs. Bindings very lightly scuffed and rubbed but secure. All boards securely attached with very minor wear to joints and hinges. Two dark marks to the cloth of the rear board of volume two. Minor shelf and edge wear. Gilt to top page edges. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the leather bindings. Binder's stamp to the bottom of preliminary blanks in both volumes. Text blocks very clean with light edge toning and occasional foxing. A lovely set.
