Full calf bindings with red and green tooled labels in compartments to the spines between gilt bands, other compartments with a simple floral gilt design. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed, more prominent scratches to the rear board of volume seven, and small loss of leather to the top of the rear board of volume three. All boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges, joints rubbed. Shelf and edge wear. Spotted page edges dulled and top edges darkened as often. Bookplate attached to the front pastedown in all volumes, ink shelf mark above. Pen ownership inscription to the ffep in all volumes. Ink mark to the front blank in all volumes. Pencil inscription to the head of the title page in all volumes. Text blocks fairly clean with toning and foxing. Tear to the corner of the rear blank in volume one. Very small wormholing to the first few leaves in volume five. Edge toning to the first few leaves in each volume, as commensurate with the full leather bindings.
