Full brown tree calf bindings with red and black tooled labels to the spines in compartments between gilt bands. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed. All tooled labels present. Small loss to the backstrip of volume three. All boards securely attached with minor wear to joints and hinges. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in all volumes. Text blocks very clean with light toning and occasional foxing, some pages more foxed and toned than others, but generally a very good set.
