Contemporary full calf, title tooled in gilt. Binding rubbed with some losses at extremities. Joints rubbed with the leather raised at the board edge to the front joint, but with both boards securely attached. Boards scuffed. Binding secure without shelf lean. Without any attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Marbled page edges, top edge dulled. Collates as complete, following the National Library of Scotland example, with the various errata leaves, separate title pages, etc. Some loss to the bottom corner of the final blank, else, internally very clean throughout. A lovely copy.
