Half calf over cloth backed boards with a gilt title in a compartment to the spine between gilt bands. Binding rubbed and scuffed with spots of the cloth fraying lightly at the bottom of the rear board. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints, front hinge cracked, and joints and rear hinge starting. Shelf and edge wear. Inscriptions to front and rear blanks. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Uncollated plates. Small number of marks.
