Half calf over paper backed boards with a gilt title in a compartment to the spine between gilt bands. Spine with some light rubbing and discolouration/staining. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints and hinges cracked, thus somewhat fragile. Front board ribbed and scuffed. Rear board prominently rubbed and scuffed. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled. Text block fairly clean with light toning, more prominent to edges, with occasional foxing. Damp staining to the first part of the page block. Ink inscriptions to front and rear blanks.
