This is the first impression with the second state binding without the gold gun to the front board as often. The dust jacket is in its first state.

Fully original black cloth binding without restoration, rebacking etc. The boards and spine are both in fine condition with some very light rubbing to the bottom of the spine and with two very small dents to the bottom edge of the rear board, without loss. Spine lightly warped. Very minor shelf wear. Corners very lightly turned in. Minor spots of foxing to the fore edge of the page block and more to the top edge. Internally very clean throughout. Some erased pencil to the half title which is almost imperceptible. Bookseller sticker attached to the bottom of the front pastedown. Stamp to the top outer corner of the ffep. Extremely sporadic very minor foxing, mostly to the beginning of the text block.

The dust jacket is bright and shows well. Price clipped. Tape reinforcement/repairs to all folds; a full tear to the rear spine fold being repaired with the tape. Small loss to some corners of folds. Some damp stains and foxing. Creases, tears, and wear to extremities. Secured in clear plastic wrapping.
