Full calf bindings with black tooled labels to spines in compartments between gilt bands, other compartments with decorative gilt. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed. Some loss to the backstrip of volume ten. Some tooled labels chipped. All bards attached with rubbing along joints, and some joints and hinges starting/cracked. Shelf and edge wear. Some volumes with a shelf lean, when placed together as a set the volumes remain upright and straight. Marbled page edges somewhat dulled. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Text blocks very clean with light toning and occasional foxing.
