Undated title pages, but likely circa 1753 with the portraits of William Shakespeare on the title pages facing both to the right and to the left and thus likely being from the two imprints of the 1753 edition according to ESTC.

Spines with minor rubbing and cracking. Wear to headcap of volume one with half lacking. Tops and bottoms of spines rubbed. All boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges, some starting. Boards with very minor superficial scratches and rubbing. Smal white marks on the front board of volume three. Shelf and edge wear. Dulling to page edges. Pen ownership inscription to front pastedown in all volumes. Very small pen inscription to the top right corner of the ffep in volume one. Text blocks very clean with very sporadic very minor foxing. Frontispieces lightly transferred onto title pages opposite.
