Contemporary boards in Cambridge panelled design, binding rebacked circa the mid 19th century, attractive on the shelf. Both boards are securely attached and the binding is secure. Tooled red morocco label laid down to spine with ‘1714’ date in blind to foot. Binding rubbed with minor loss to leather, shelf wear, spine sunned.
Collates as complete. Contemporary note, probably in the hand of the printer, to d2 (errata leaf). Some faint staining to 3D1-2 not obscuring legibility of text. Some heavy toning to U1-Y2 (six leaves), again not obscuring the legibility of the text, else generally bright and clean throughout the text. An excellent copy.
