Condition:
Contemporary full vellum binding, hand-painted to the front board, some discolouration and staining and loss to the paint, but shows very attractively indeed nonetheless. Binding rubbed, but with both boards securely attached and the binding secure. Shelf and edge wear. Presentation inscription to front free endpaper recto dated 1905. Internally an attractive copy, mildly toned, sporadic mild spotting, discolouration to introduction leaf recto, else clean.
