Full brown calf with gilt titles between raised bands lined with gilt. Bindings rubbed and scuffed, shelf and edge wear. All boards attached with rubbing along joints and minor wear to hinges, front hinge of volume one cracked. All edges gilt with some scratches. Some shelf lean but all volumes remain upright. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Text blocks fairly clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Endpapers foxed.
