Contemporary (original) full vellum binding, discoloured, extensively to spine, but structurally secure, without shelf lean. Both boards attached. Collated as complete with both volumes bound into one, the second volume usually lacking, here complete. Hinges split but backstrip securely attached to page block, joints secure, with boards securely attached to binding. Retains the original rather numerous blanks, including the two between the two volumes. No attached bookplates. Dampstaining in bottom right corner to the first half of the second volume, and in the top margin of the second half of the second volume, not obscuring text. Generally bright throughout the text, not with loss of sense. A lovely copy of a scarce edition of Dionysius' works.
