Condition:
Uniform original publisher's cloth bindings, backstrips uniformly dulled as typical, but still remains attractive on the shelf. Bindings cocked as typical causing some shelf lean. Typical minor discolouration to cloth in places. Joints & hinges all secure, all boards securely attached. Page edges a little toned as often, top edges gilt, dulled. Ex libris stamp to front pastedowns (as published) with the name section filled in, verso blank with a gift inscription dated 1960, else generally internally excellent through each volume, with the tissue guards toned as typical, protecting the pages. Page edges (fore-edge and bottom) uncut as published.
