Uniform contemporary half calf over marbled paper backed boards with dark green tooled labels in compartments between raised bands. Some slight bumps to spines and labels else externally very attractive, bright, and presentable. Very light shelf wear. Extremely minor rubbing along the joints but with all joints uncracked with all boards securely attached, the bindings secure, and without shelf lean. Top edges gilt, slightly dulled but remaining bright and attractive. Internally very clean throughout all of the text blocks, the text never with loss of sense. A fully readable set. Almost imperceptible remnants of now erased pencil to head of front blank in the Pride and Prejudice volume, presumably of a previous bookseller, else internally fine throughout each volume. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions in any of the volumes. Occasionally some leaves are uncut at the edges meaning that the set has very likely never been read.

A remarkable finely bound set of Austen's works in remarkable condition.
