Full vellum binding with an ink title to the spine. Binding rubbed, scuffed, discoloured, and with some marks. Both boards attached with front board starting. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled and with some marks. Ink inscriptions to both pastedowns and to front and rear blanks. Crossed out ink inscription to the middle of the title page. Ink inscription to the bottom of the title page reading ":S: MK T 73." Numerous marginalia throughout, most prominently to the start of the text block. Small tear to the top of B1 (pp.17/18). One word crossed out on pp.60, illegible. Small tear to the bottom of S1 (pp.273/274). Text block lightly toned with some foxing and occasional marks. Very minor damp staining to the text block gutter, mostly throughout, not affecting any legibility. Lacking E8 (probably a blank?), otherwise complete.
