SECOND EDITION. A stunning full vellum large folio edition of St Anselm's works, here also bound with a biography of his life and a commentary on his works.

The works of St Anselm are surprisingly scarcely encountered, which is all the more surprising given his incredible influence in the study of theology and the philosophy of religion, especially pertaining to the ontological argument for God's existence which is still influential today in academic discourse, albeit with some alterations. Still, the original argument is much more powerful than often given credit for, but here we have St Anselm's full works bound together! An incredible publication in a highly attractive contemporary full vellum binding.
