Half calf over marbled paper backed boards with tooled labels in compartments to the spines between raised bands, one lacking, another chipped. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed. All boards attached with rubbing along joints. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges show well, top edge darkened. Pencil and ink inscriptions to front blank in volume one. Some dampstaining to frontis. Pencil inscription to tissue paper between frontis and t.p. Pencil inscription to title in volume two and a faded ink inscription. Text blocks fairly clean with light toning and some foxing. Small edge tear to pp.15/16 in volume two, not affecting the text.
