Contains a few inscriptions dating from 1749 to 1802. The notes include names and dates of significant family events - births, deaths, etc and was thus probably used in place of the blanks in a Bible. Most of the leaves remain blank, some of which have very faint offset indications of what the paper came from, most likely an almanac due to the size.

Condition:
Binding in very good condition with minor rubbing. Lacking original clasp. White mark to the front board. Some very small cracks to joints and hinges. Paper of the front pouch partially detached from the inside of the front pastedown. Floral paper of the pouches appears to have coloured marks. Blank paper has very lightly transferred text onto it which appears to from an almanac, as almanacs often had blanks bound between the text pages. Few pages contain inscriptions, many remaining blank. Some remnants of missing leaves appear between the blanks on occasion.
