Bound by J & E Bumpus.
The bindery was established in the 1860s by John and Edward Bumpus. They quickly gained a great reputation for their high quality bookbinding and their specialisation in fine bindings. They would often use premium materials to create exquisite and decorative book bindings. They were later recognised by the British royal family with a Royal Warrant, and won numerous awards and bookbinding competitions.
