Bound in the original publisher's black cloth binding with titles lettered in silver and the front in gilt. Slightly bumped at the foot else near fine to fine; the binding uncocked and without shelf lean. Stain to top page edge and at the foot of the fore edge. Without any attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Generally very clean throughout the text block with the stains to the page edges not affecting the text block.
Spine panel of the dust jacket mildly toned, though superior to the typical example. A little wear to the extremities with some small closed tears at the foot. Rubbing at joints though remaining in very good order and structurally secure. Some toning at the head of the inner flaps as typical. Not price clipped. Small stain at the head of the rear flap also visible on the verso with another small stain at the foot of the joint of the front flap similarly visible on the verso as pictured. Else the verso is very good to near fine without the usual toning.
